My bank account only gos back to when I joined quickbooks about 2myhs ago but no further.any body know why please and how to go back further?

When connecting your bank account in QuickBooks Online, it'll only download the last 90 days of transactions from your bank. Since you need to get the older transactions, I'd recommend uploading them manually. 

Some banks call this webconnect. Just be sure to only import transactions that haven't been recorded yet to avoid duplicates. Also, you'll need to sign in to your bank's website and follow their instructions on how to download these transactions.
