My credit card account does not match quickbooks as I had spent £908.82 on the account when quickbooks was set up. How do I make them match?

You will have to ensure all the transactions within the bank account/chart of account correspond with your bank statement. If you started entering transaction from a specific date you will have to ensure that you hav entered an opening balance journal that reflects the amount/balance of of your bank account on that specific date.
