My last quarters vat payment is still sitting (unmatched) in my bank account, but I've made the payment through the Taxes menu. How do I clear it?

Can you check the payment you created within the taxes section, Taxes > Payments > View to ensure that ou have allocated it to the correct bank account and that you have entered the same amount and date that is showing in the banking page. If the payment is incorrect you will have to delete it and re-create it.
