Great to have you here in the Community, @javon-bartonsbui. I want to help ensure your scanned receipts are synced to QuickBooks successfully.

When uploading receipts, please ensure that you use these file format supported by QuickBooks: PDF, JPEG, JPG, GIF, and PNG images.

If you have a newer iPhone or iPad, your images might be in the HEIC format. You can convert HEIC images to a compatible format.

I also want to know if you received any error messages when uploading your receipts, or did you use a browser or mobile app? That way, we can determine if you're one of the affected users of the issue that currently we're investigated on.

In the meantime, if the error came up while using a browser, you may use an incognito or a private window to check if this is a browser-related issue. Here's the keyboard shortcut keys that you can follow according to your preferred browser:

  • Google Chrome, press CTRL+ Shift+N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press CTRL+Shift+P
  • Internet Explorer: Press CTRL+Shift+P
  • Safari: press Command+Shift+N

If that works, follow the steps to clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

However, if you're using the mobile app, I'd recommend resetting your app to delete the stored data. Then, relaunch it.

Here's how for Android device:

  1. From More Options, then select the Settings tab.
  2. Choose the Refresh Data menu.
  3. Hit Yes

For iOs:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Select Reset App Data.
  3. Click OK.

For additional isights, I recommend checking this article to learn more about uploading your receipts to QuickBooks Online.

Get back to me if you have additional concerns about scanning and syncing your receipts in your company. I'll be here to guide you some more.
