On the payrol journals I have bank account mapped to a wages and salaries control account, however it went into the bank account instead. It does not let me edit journals

Once moved from Quickbooks Standard Payroll to Quickbooks Core Payroll, Payroll Payment (which was the payroll journal) can be located in the chart of accounts you choose to map your payments. The option to edit these entries is currently unavailable.

To update your account mapping, you can proceed to these steps:

1. Click the Gear icon, then Payroll settings.
2. Head to the Accounting section and select the Pencil icon.
3. Update the account for wages and salaries and choose the control account.
4. Hit Done.
