Paypal feed not working

Paypal feed stopped working at the end of July

 

In the dashboard I see:

Something isn't working
Sorry, we can’t update your account. Please try updating again later.(1)

We reported this and will notify you when it's fixed

 

Have never received any notifications!

 

If I try to reconnect I get

Something unexpected happened and we couldn't connect to your bank.

 

Any suggestions?

Hi @tekhoi,

 

Let me share some steps you can do to try and get your PayPal feed working.

 

To ensure we don't have any issues with your browser, try these:

  1. Clear your browser's cache.
  2. Try your browser's private window:
    1. Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
    2. Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
    3. Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
    4. Safari: Command + Shift + N
  3. Try a different browser to see if it works.

Other options you have are located in this article: What to do if bank transactions won’t download. This provides you steps on how you can manually download your latest transactions and also to check your bank's website.

This seems to be the standard reply from all staff to any technical issue!

 

Its not related to browser cookies, if I need to manually import transactions, then I will be going to XERO instead.

Hi tekhoi,

 

We've been updating our online banking connection due to some new bank policies. That's the reason you're getting error with downloading PayPal transactions.


We've been notified that some customers are experiencing the same issue. And, we encourage you reaching out to us directly so we can escalate your account to our engineers. 

  1. Please click on the Help menu.
  2. Select Contact us.
  3. Enter Bank Feeds error in the field and click on Let's talk.
  4. Choose a way to reach us.

We greatly appreciate your patience while we are working on getting it fixed.
