Paypal Purchases Issues

I am not sure where we are doing wrong when dealing with Paypal purchases.

When making purchases with Paypal we end up with duplicated payments and if we used our bank card through Paypal.

How do you we then deal with this as we have been excluding the Paypal transaction and just keeping the bank transaction. However, we have noticed that the Paypal balance then decreases and the bank balance increases?

Feeling very confused on how to deal with Paypal purchases.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Let me assist you and direct you to the appropriate support for your PayPal concern, Logos1.

The transactions we receive are dependent on what PayPal sends us. That said, I recommend contacting the bank account connected to PayPal to identify what causes duplicate payments. Then apply the permanent solution once it becomes available to keep you from excluding the transactions. Additionally, correct the balances of your PayPal and bank accounts.

If your bank and QuickBooks balances do not match, the following are some of the possible causes:

  • Outstanding transactions
  • New transactions for a connected account
  • Duplicate transactions
  • Edited or deleted transactions
  • Credit card (liability) account
