I appreciate you for taking the time to post your concern here in the Community, @minoroffice. I'm here to make sure that you can send your attachment in QuickBooks.

QuickBooks supports PDF, JPEG, JPG, GIF, and PNG images when uploading transactions in QuickBooks. Also, make sure that you've met the file size requirement which is less than 20MB and each image or file contains only one receipt.

In case, you have a newer iPhone or iPad, your images might be in the HEIC format. You can convert HEIC images to a compatible format.

Then, you can try attaching the jpg again if QuickBooks will recognize the format. For mobile devices, here's how to add a receipt:

  1. Open the app, then tap the Menu ≡.
  2. Tap Receipt snap.
  3. Hit the Receipt Camera and snap a photo of your receipt.
  4. Tap Use this photo, then Done.

Also, you can open a web browser and attach the file from there. Here's how:

  1. Open a web browser, then sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to the Banking or Transactions menu and select the Receipts tab.
  3. Drag and drop receipts directly into QuickBooks Online, or select Browse to upload them. You can also email receipts to QuickBooks and they’ll show up here as well. You can use PDFs, images (jpeg, jpg, gif, or png), or info in an email.
