Quick books hasn't been able to link with my bank account in months. Contacted my bank and this isn't an issue on their end

Let's resolve the error you're having to connect your bank account successfully, @userrachellesslie.

 

Can you tell us more about the bank that you're trying to connect to and the error you're encountering? That'll help us get the best resolution for the error you're having.

In the meantime, you can manually download the transactions from the bank and then upload the file to your account. Check this article for more information: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online

 

From here, you can now categorise and then reconcile the transactions.
