Quickbooks is picking up the balance including pending from the bank account. Now cannot reconcile bank to quickbooks as bank does not show pending amounts. Anyone else?

Let me share some information so you'd be able to reconcile your account.

The QuickBooks Balance is composed of the income and expense transactions you've manually added in QuickBooks. Also, it is composed of downloaded transactions that were accepted or matched. You can compare your list of manually added transactions and the ones in your bank register.

Once checked, you can uncheck the uncleared or pending transactions. These could be paychecks or checks that are still uncashed or a customer payment that was already recorded in QuickBooks even if it’s not cleared in the bank. This way it will not be included when you reconcile your account.
