Hi there, timelesswine95.

We'd want to make sure that you're able to temporarily stop the contributions in QuickBooks Online. Can you also tell us what version of payroll you're using?

If you have Standard Payroll, follow these steps to opt out:

  1. Go to Workers menu, then select Employees.
  2. Click the name of the employee.
  3. In the Profile section, click on the Pencil icon for Auto-enrollment.
  4. Select Opt Out, then enter the effective date.
  5. Click Done.

Here's an article for more details: Workplace pensions in QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll.

If you're using the Advanced version, follow the steps provided here:

Let me know if you need anything else.
