Question

The option "Disconnect this account on save" has disappeared from the account box. How do I disconnect an account now?

My Natwest Cards Online (UK) account doesn't connect anymore. I used to be able to fix such connection issues by going to "Edit account info" to  disconnect and then reconnect the account. But now I can't find the checkbox "Disconnect this account on save" anymore.

Hello there, @bruno3!

Once your credit card account has already been disconnected to online banking, you're unable to see the Disconnect this account on save option from the Edit account info page. This is the reason why you're unable to disconnect and update your credit card account on the Banking page.

That being said, you may want to consider reconnecting your credit card account. To do so:

  1. Go to Banking.
  2. Select Add account.
  3. Enter Natwest Cards Online on the Bank name or URL field.
  4. Type in your banking's login credentials.
  5. Choose your credit card account.
  6. Click Connect.

Here's an article you can read to learn more about how you can connect your credit card account: Connect bank and card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

I've also included this helpful article that'll guide you in handling your downloaded transactions: Download, match, and categorise your bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
