transfer of money

bad, awful...
QB online refuses to update my 2nd cell phone number so I can't transfer money that has been paid to me.

After many calls and waiting 45 minutes on each call, nothing is solved and I get mean people that remain silent on the other end of the phone.

bad, awful...
this is abuse.. and I am paying for this service, they are witholding my money

I don't want you to feel that way, bermuda.

 

Updating the phone number should be easy as long as you provide the requirements needed for the change.

 

If you need to update the phone number to verify your account, you can sign in to your Intuit Account. Then, enter the new number from there. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to this link: Intuit Account.
  2. Enter your QuickBooks Online log-in credentials.
  3. Go to Sign in & security from the left menu, then click Phone.
  4. Click Change.
  5. Enter the new number and your QuickBooks password.
  6. Click Save.

 

Once updated, I recommend getting back in touch with our QuickBooks Live Team. That way, they can pull up your account, check again the number on file, and help transfer the money.

 

Also, updating the business information, like phone number, should be done by the primary contact on file. Protecting your account is our priority and you can browse this link if you need further step : Request to be the primary admin or contact.

I wish the first support person had told me that on May 20th.

I changed it but it still has my other cell number in the code section when I try to transfer the money.....

it still wants to send a verification code to my other tel number...

what should I do now?

 

All of this delay has caused my normal bank account to be overdrawn and having to cancel my doctors appt....because I couldn't transfer the money in time...

I recommend getting back in touch with our QuickBooks Live Team. They can verify if the new phone number was successfully changed by pulling up your account.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click Help (?).
  3. In QB Assistant, enter the topic you need help with. You can also enter questions.
  4. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert. Live chat all day, M-F.
    • Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.
