Turn OFF Receipt Snap in the mobile app?

Receipt Snap is meant to help, but the delay it takes in parsing the receipts means that I can snap a bunch of them, but have to come back to them another time to check... and then still have to enter the info manually.

 

All I want to do is snap the receipts, and enter the details manually. Can I turn off Receipt Snap?

Thanks for coming to the Community for your Receipt Snap feature concerns. Snapping a photo for your receipt on your mobile device is one of the great features of QuickBooks, quankbooks. 

 

To turn off the receipt snap in QuickBooks online is unavailable. As a workaround, you can get receipts from your Google Drive account by following the steps below:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu.
  2. Select the Receipts tab.
  3. Choose Upload from computer or Upload from Google Drive. Note: Each image or file should only contain a single receipt or bill.
