Being able to reconnect your bank account is my priority, nrt1968-live-co-.

Before proceeding, may I know the name of the bank? Did you encounter any error messages? Adding more details will help us investigate the issue.

Let's click the Refresh all button to fix this unexpected behavior when connecting your bank accounts. I'll show you how.

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Under Transactions, choose Bank Accounts.
  3. Click the Refresh all button.

Once done, let's connect the account again. Here's how:

  1. From the Gear icon, select Bank accounts.
  2. Select Connect another account.
  3. In the search box, enter the name of the bank and account type.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your account.

After that, QuickBooks Self-Employed will automatically download your recent bank transactions.

In case the issue persists, I'd suggest accessing your QuickBooks Self-Employed account via a private window. This is a good place to determine if there's an issue with the browser.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

Once signed in, reconnect your bank account. If you're able to do so, let's clear your browser's cache. This improves the performance of the program.

Also, you can use other supported browsers. They'll provide you the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.

Aside from connecting your account, you can also manually import your bank transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Additionally, I've included these articles that'll help you manage your transactions. This ensures your books are accurate.

Please come back and keep us posted on your progress in reconnecting your bank account. I'm determined to get this resolved.
