I have had this message for 10days now is there a general problem with QB?

 

Something isn't working

Sorry, we can't update your account. Please wait a few hours and try updating again (101).
We reported this and will notify you when it's fixed

I'm here to ensure you can fix the error code 101 you've encountered when updating your bank account, @RAW19. I'll provide some troubleshooting steps to help you fix your query. 

 

There are a few reasons why you could be seeing this error 101. You'll encounter this when trying to add a bank with no valid account from your online banking account that satisfies at least one of the criteria below:

 

  • There have been no transactions in the last 12 months.
  • You have missed prompts from your online banking website.

 

To get around this, we can log in to your bank's website in a new tab or a different browser to see if you still get the same error. Then, check if your account has an existing balance, is still active, or has transactions in the past 12 months. You can reach out to your bank if you're supposed to have an active account but are still unable to log in to your bank's website.

 

From there, go back to your bank's website and look for messages that need your confirmation. You can acknowledge those missed prompts and refresh your account again.  

 

If the error persists, I suggest contacting our Technical Support Team. This way, they'll be able to do further investigation into this concern. Please check their available hours to address your queries promptly.
