I've tried to connect my bank account and I keep getting the "We encountered an error connecting your accounts. Please try again later" message.  At first, it was going through and getting to my security questions and when I entered the answer it would say, "That's not quite right", but I know it was because I printed off the answers to each question. It actually asked me all three of my security questions and then finally went to the statement that I posted originally. HELP!

    Hello there XEET1969,

     

    I'm here to help you get rid of the error when connecting to your bank account.

     

    You can check if there are any issues with the browser. You can start with opening a private browser and logging into your QBO account. Here are the different keyboard shortcuts to open a private browser:

     

    Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N  
    Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
    Internet Explorer: press Ctrl Shift P
    Safari: press Command Shift N

     

    If you're able to connect to your bank account using the private mode, we'll need to switch back to the regular browser window (press Ctrl + N) to delete the cache and cookies. Private browsing helps us identify if there are issues with the browser console.

     

    In case the private browser failed to help you get rid of the error message, you can shift to a different browser. Doing this will help us isolate if the issue is specific to the browser or within the product itself.

     

    If your transactions won't be automatically downloaded, we do have a workaround to get these transactions to QuickBooks. This process is called WebConnect. The article below will guide you on how to download the bank file and import it to QBO:

     

    Upload more than 90 days of bank transactions through Web Connect.
