Question

We have had to reconnect our bank accounts to QB. Our main bank account is connected fine, but the savings account and Credit cards will not reconnect. Anyone else?

Glad to see you again here in the Community, @SGrieve.

I have some information to share about why you're unable to reconnect your saving and credit card accounts in QuickBooks Online.

Our system is updating the bank feeds to comply with new Open Banking regulations. Having that said, being unable to connect your credit card and savings account in the system can be caused by the new banking regulation.

It means that  March 14, 2020, bank data can only be downloaded into QuickBooks through Open Banking. This allows customers to share their financial information electronically.

For those financial institutions that do not support this feature, are advised to manually import their bank transactions using CSV file uploads until the new connection is made available.

Here's a link that can guide you on how to upload your bank transactions in QBO: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

If this feature is already available on your bank, you can upgrade your bank feed connection. Please follow the instructions found in this article on how to accomplish this goal: Upgrade your bank feed connection to Open Banking.

You can check out these resources below to learn more about this process, and see what are those financial institutions that currently supports this feature:

I'd also encourage you to visit our QuickBooks Online blog site, to stay in the loop with our latest news and product developments.

I got your back if you need anything else. I'm always up for further assistance. Have a nice day, SGrieve.
