When I transfer money from a linked savings account to my linked currant account, qb takes this as income on my p

No money is leaving my bank at all or being put in, but I just moved a few thousand £ from a linked savings account in the same bank to cover a cheque, and my profit has gone through the roof on reporting when i check p

Hi chris c1, thanks for your post - does the transfer have a VAT code assigned? This is usually the cause for this to be posted as income against the P&L.
