When I try to connect my bank account, I login into online banking, choose the bank account and the bank accepts access etc and says ‘go back to quickbooks app’ and when I click this it takes me back to the app but my bank account isn’t linked?

I can provide you with some insights on how to get around this issue and link your bank account.

 

You'll want to log out and log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) Mobile App to refresh the system. If the issue remains, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This will delete your app data and downloads the latest enhancements.

 

You can also log in to your account via a regular web browser and access your bank account from there. Once everything is settled, you can utilize this article for guidance in tracking your transactions to the right account: Categorise transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
