When reconnecting my bank account to my QuickBooks account, it no longer gives me access as I have got a new computer and won’t recognise the connection what do I do?

May I know the name of the bank account you're having trouble connecting to? I want to ensure this gets resolved for you. 

 

In the meantime, I recommend performing a manual refresh on your bank account to regain its connection. Here’s what you’ll need to do:

 

  1. On the left pane, click Banking.
  2. Select the credit card account from the Bank and Credit Cards drop-down menu.
  3. Click the Update button. Please run the update around 3-5 times to build a stable connection.

 

Once you downloaded your transactions inside QuickBooks, you can add and categorize them. This ensures your books are accurate.
