Where can I find the Unique Reference Number required to setup HSBC direct feeds? HSBC is asking this on their end when I try to do the setup from online banking.

Hello Rcollier

If you press cntrl+alt+? on your keyboard it will also bring up your company id.Any probems if you can send a private message to QuickBooks UK on Facebook and Twitter and we can advise you what it is.We can't add it in this post as the Community is a public forum and it will redact that information.

Thanks

The unique reference number is your QuickBooks's company ID, simone-nulli.

There are two ways on how we can view this information.

You can either press Ctrl + alt + ? on your keyboard or you can go to the Billing & Subscription section. Let me guide you with these steps:

  1. Click the Gear icon, and then Account and Settings.
  2. Go to the Billing & Subscription tab.
  3. Locate your Company ID.

You can also take a look at this article for some FAQs about Direct Feeds: QuickBooks Direct Feeds Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

Feel free to get in touch with me if there's anything that I can help in setting up your online banking!

Hi Admin,

I have this issue too, however my quickbooks is provided by my accountant so they have all the billing info so QB won't / don't allow me to get the Unique Reference that HSBC need.

What do I do now?

Rich
