I only have import vendors or add vendor.

Hi usermhamill If you're not experiencing the same issue when using a private window on your browser this indicates that your standard browser has attracted too much cache and cookies data and is hindering the use of QuickBooks. We recommend that you clear the cache and cookies from the browser by following the steps Bryan has previously provided.

Thanks that sorted it

It's good to have you here, @usermhamill.

Let's ensure to show your missing supplier's to its designated window.

Before anything, I'd like to know if you're trying to view them on your computer or phone. Also, ensure to log in using the correct account since the "Vendor" term is used by other regions.

Let's perform some basic troubleshooting for QuickBooks Online (QBO) that was logged in via the web. This will help us determine if this is a browser-related concern. Also, this won't store cache files which causes odd behaviors.

To start, access your QBO account via a private browser. Feel free to follow the shortcut keys below:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Then, view your supplier's list there. Once this works, clear the cache of your default browser to remove accumulated data files. Also, you can utilize another supported browser or device if it doesn't work. This happens when the current one you're utilizing has a temporary issue with the program.

However, if you're using a phone, I recommend logging out of your account. Then, update the app and sign in again. If this doesn't work, we can refresh the app and phone's data.

For iOS devices:

  1. Click the Settings, then General
  2. Tap iPhone Storage, then go to the QuickBooks Online app.
  3. Select Offload App to free up storage without deleting your app's documents and data.

For Android:

  1. Select More Options of the three horizontal dots, from the Menu icon symbolizing the burger sign.
  2. Click the Setting tab, the Refresh Data.
  3. Tap YES to confirm.

Moreover, you can read this article if you want to learn what to do if you have duplicate supplier profiles: Merge duplicate accounts, customers, and suppliers in QuickBooks Online.

For additional questions about managing your supplier list and profiles, feel free to reply to this post. We'll be willing to lend a hand. Take care, and have a good one.

Hi Bryan

I use QB every day and have for the last 3 years, I have the same link at the top of my browser which opens QB and everything is working as it normally would except on Wednesday I opened QB and when I clicked on my suppliers bookmark it showed a box saying add vendor or import vendors.

If I open this is a private window the suppliers are shown, so what changed on Wednesday?
