Why can’t I connect my accounts, they just sit on a loading screen

Whenever I try to link my accounts the app just sits on a loading screen
Tried it through mobile browser and that also isn’t working

Let me help you connect your accounts to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Before anything else, what financial institution are you connected with? This is for me to check my resources further if similar issues are reported.

 

On the other hand, we can perform browser troubleshooting steps to eliminate common errors that might be causing the problem. Please proceed by opening a private browser window. An excessive amount of cached data may cause QuickBooks to perform oddly.

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private browser:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift +N

 

Once done, connect your bank accounts. Then, clear the cache in the browser to prevent this from happening again. If you have another supported browser, you can choose that instead.

 

Furthermore, learn to categorise and match your transactions to add them to the correct category. Then, reconcile this afterward to ensure your account is balanced.
