Why can’t I use QuickBooks with Lloyds Bank, I have not been able to use it for a long time and will probably cancel it and use another software.

The new Open Banking regulations is already available for Lloyds Bank. You should now be able to update your transactions in QBO. One possible reason you're having trouble connecting is that they're performing system maintenance. With this, I'd suggest contacting them to check if they are experiencing technical difficulties or undergoing upgrades.

Once confirmed that there's nothing wrong with their connection to QBO, you can perform a manual update to help refresh the system and get your latest transactions. Here's how:

1. Go to the Banking menu. 
2. Select Update on the Banking page. 
3. Enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials.
4. Click Continue update.

Moreover, you can also log in to your bank's website to check if there are alerts that need your attention. 

Once signed in, perform the following steps:

1. Review your account page for messages, notifications, or alerts. 
2. Check your bank’s website for any announcements.
3. Once done, go back to your QBO account to update any information you made in your bank's website.

Once you make changes to your bank's website, you'll have to update your bank info in QBO as well to match their account details. Let me guide you how.

To get this done, here's what you'll need to do:

1. Download your bank transactions from your bank's website.
2. Review the file format and size. 
3. Start your upload into QBO.

Moreover, you can also submit a request support for your bank. Here's how:

1. Click Banking in the left menu. 
2. Pick Add account.
3. Search for the name of your financial institution. 
4. Choose Request support for your bank.

6. Hit Request.
