I'm glad you took a moment to reach out there in the Community, info1739.

I've got a couple of suggestions you can perform to help fix the issue about updating your bank in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Before that, may I know what bank is having update issues? This will help me identify if we have an ongoing investigation specific to your bank.

In the meantime, try using a private browser or incognito window. This will eliminate any browser history that may cause a glitch inside QuickBooks. You can refer to the following keyboard shortcuts below:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If you can, proceed to delete your browsing history to clear out the cache or data that's causing the issue. Use this article as a guide: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. Otherwise, try using a different browser to be more thorough.

Learn more about the common errors when importing bank transactions through this article. This article is made for QBO but can be also applied to QBSE: Common errors for importing bank transactions using CSV.

If you haven't tried manually updating your bank, I also suggest doing so. This will refresh the connection between your bank and QBO.  To do this, just click the Update button on the Banking page. You can try to update three times during non-peak hours.

I'm also sharing this article below to give you more insights on what to do if transactions are not updating and fixing banking errors in QBO: Fix bank errors in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know how this goes and if you need more help with bank transactions. It will be my pleasure to assist. Stay safe and have a great day ahead!
