Let me first discuss some details about why your account got suspended.

 

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), the account will be suspended if we can't process subscription payments successfully. This will result in having view-only access for the discontinued services. This will only allow you to read all your company data. You can resolve this by updating the payment details. 

 

Since you're having trouble updating the info, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to determine if this is a cache-related issue. This is one component of the browser that speeds up the loading process but sometimes gets corrupted and causes odd behaviors. To start, log in to your account using an incognito mode. This does not store history files and will provide a clean slate. Below are the keyboard shortcuts you can use:

 

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Microsoft Edge: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.

 

Once signed in, go to the Billing and subscription page again and update the payment details. Make sure that you enter the correct info and that it does not include extra unnecessary characters. If this works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to eliminate damaged files. If not, I suggest using another supported browser or device.
