Hi there, @r-farley164.

It's my priority to help you run your business smoothly. You've got me here to extend my helping hand to ensure that you'll be able to reconnect your bank account in the system.

To start with, may I know what specific financial institution are you working with? or did you received an error message while reconnecting your bank account? Any further details would be a great help to narrow down this matter.

On the other hand, I'd like to let you know that being unable to reconnect your bank account in the system can be caused by the new banking regulation. It means that bank data can only be downloaded into QuickBooks through Open Banking. This allows customers to share their financial information electronically.

You can check out these articles below to learn more about how this bank connection works, and see what are those financial institutions that currently supports this feature:

Moreover, for those financial institutions that do not support this feature are advised to manually import their bank transactions using CSV file uploads until the new connection is made available.

Uploading your bank transactions manually comes with these steps:

  1. Pick a date range of your desired transactions from your bank's website.
  2. Download the transactions from your bank.
  3. Review the file format and size.
  4. Start uploading them in QBO.

Here's a link that provide in-depth details how to upload your bank transactions in QBO together with categorising them.: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Please know that our system is updating the bank feeds to comply with new Open Banking regulations.

I'll be right here to provide continuous support with this matter or if you have any other concerns. I'll make sure you're taken care of. Keep safe.
