Question

Why would a business banking connection expire if my client has logged into her bank account within the past 90 days?

Hi there, crosstimmydave.

We’re updating our bank feeds to comply with new Open Banking regulations. Unfortunately, it could be your bank account is not currently supported by Open Banking. I recommend using CSV import until a new connection becomes available.

I suggest contacting our Phone Support team, so they can add you to our notification list. This will help our engineers determine the number of affected users. You'll also receive an update through email once all banks are available for Open Banking.

Here's how to contact them:

1. Open your QuickBooks Account.

2. At the top right, click the Help icon.

3. Click Contact Us.

4. Under What can we help you with?, enter your concern about running payroll.

5. Click Let's Talk.

6. You'll be routed into the Choose a way to connect with us page.

  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.
  • Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.

7. Select how you want to contact them and fill in the information.

You check this article to see a table that contains a list of Banks with accounts available on Open banking: Understanding if you can upgrade your bank feeds to Open Banking.

Please refer to this link on how to review your bank transactions so you're able to match and add or exclude them to avoid duplicate entries: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. Wishing you and your business continued success.
