Why would a transaction show on the bank register as reconciled but not be on the reconciled section of QB?

I'm here to help, ashley261.

There are some reasons why the transaction on the reconciliation page is missing. Might be the reason for those is transaction was deleted, an incorrect bank account, an incorrect date, and the transaction was reconciled on the previous dates.

To fix this you need to locate the transaction by checking this article: Find, review, and edit transactions in account registers.

Once done, do undo reconciliation and check the dates. Here's how:

  1. Go to Accounting tab on the left panel.
  2. Under Your Company, select Chart of Accounts.
  3. Choose the account you’re working on, and click on View Register.
  4. Select the transactions you want to unreconcile.
  5. Keep on clicking the R status until it shows blank or cleared (C).
  6. Click on Save.
  7. Choose Yes in the confirmation window.

You can check this article for more detailed instructions: Undo or remove transactions from reconciliations in QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, I've added this article that'll help you fix the beginning balance in reconciliation: Fix beginning balance issues during your first reconciliation in QuickBooks Online.
