Will I get paid, I’m new to QuickBooks and I’m a new start up business. How do I take payment, I would normally only be taking payments via transfer, will QB ask for it?

To clarify, are you referring to taking payment for your own wages? QuickBooks itself is not a payment processor, so you would need to record any outward payments (such as payments for wages, or to suppliers) as expenses.
