Question

Yesterday we tried an import but it froze, so we tried again. Now our file was imported 2x, completely ignoring if something was a duplicate, so now its 3x income.undo?

We’d like to undo yesterdays imports as it completely messed up our books. There was a period missing as qb didnt notify when it lost sync with the bank acc. We need to undo what the books were littered with, duplicates should be ignored

Hello Fametune-gmail-c, welcome to the QuickBooks Community. We're sorry to hear that the imports duplicated themselves. If it was bank transactions you imported, the best thing to do first is add all the ones (left hand side menu>transactions>banking transactions) that need to be added and matched, so you are just left with the duplicates in the banking section.

Then click on the box next to the word date on the banking transactions page, it will select everything on that page, then hit exclude, do that again if there are more pages.  Then all the transactions will be excluded from the banking transactions page. 

 

You can then hit on the excluded section>select the box next to word date>delete and it will delete the transactions. Or you can just leave them in excluded.
