Let's find out why funds aren't deposited for the first payroll run you've made, kbogue-platforme.

Direct deposit funds are only deposited on open banking days (Monday- Friday). Banks have until 5:00 PM local time to post funds into a bank account per NACHA regulations.

You need to check the status of the paycheck since it will tell you if the process went through or not. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Payroll menu and select Employees.
  2. Select Paycheck List.
  3. You’ll see the status of the paycheck listed and a detailed description when hovering over the status (Scheduled, Processed, Returned, or Canceled).

In addition to this, your payroll must be processed and sent to Intuit before 5 p.m., Pacific Time, two federal banking days before your paycheck date to guarantee your direct deposits process on time.

Also, be sure you have funds in your account to cover the payroll on the day it’s submitted. Keep in mind, Intuit won’t process your payroll on weekends or state or federal holidays.

Please browse this link to learn to make sure your employees get paid on time: When do I need to submit payroll to pay employees on time?

If funds are still not deposited on the scheduled pay date, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Payroll Team. They can trace the funds for you.

When everything looks good, you can pay taxes electronically or manually in QuickBooks.

Stay in touch with me if there's anything else I can help you with checking the status of the first payroll run. I'll stay around until you're able to know where the funds are.
