Individual items are entered correctly. Just the total was wrong. Bank sent two transactions, one for the 1300 and a negative 100.

Thanks for coming here, brian81.

Based on your scenario, you can manually add funds to deposits in the bottom section of the Bank Deposit screen. You need to enter these manually since these don't come from sales forms.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the + New menu.
  2. Select Bank Deposit.
  3. Enter a negative amount 100 to the Add funds to this deposit section.
  4. Review the information and click Save and close.

More information about making bank deposits can be found in this article: Record and make bank deposits in QuickBooks Online.

You'll want to run Deposit Detail and customize the filter transaction type. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to Reports, and click the search bar.
  2. Click Customize
  3. Under Filter, drop-down menu from Transaction Type and search Deposit
  4. Tap Run report.
