Hi there, Victor69.

I'm here to ensure you can successfully view the interest in your bank account.

When you connect your online bank and credit card accounts, QuickBooks Online (QBO) automatically downloads new transactions. If you’re not getting the latest transactions, I recommend following the troubleshooting steps to fix this.

First, I suggest manually updating your bank account. Doing so ensures that the most current and accurate financial data is reflected in your QBO records. Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions and select Bank transactions.
  2. Select Update.
  3. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials and select Continue update. You must enter these credentials within 2 minutes of being prompted. Multi-factor authentication is any security precaution that requests more than a single username and password.

If downloads seem slow or stuck, the issue may be on the bank’s end. Sign in to their website to check. Make sure you check the URL QuickBooks uses to connect your bank:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Select Link account
  3. Search for your bank and select it.
  4. Copy the URL listed for your bank.
  5. Sign in to your bank or credit card's website using the copied URL.

Once signed in, check the following:

  1. Check your account for messages, notifications, or alerts.
  2. Look for any display issues as you navigate the website. These can block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions.
  3. Check your bank’s website for any announcements about new security requirements.

If everything looks good, go back to QuickBooks to refresh your connection again:

  1. Go to Transactions, then Bank transactions.
  2. Select Update.

For more details about the process, please see this article: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions.

You can also manually upload your bank transactions.
