Welcome to Community, @ikping.

Yes, you can edit the date to correct the check date so you can reconcile.

To edit:

  1. Go to Accounting.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts, then tap the View register link of the account where the check is entered.
  3. Click the check in question, then correct the Date.
  4. Hit Save.

After that, go back and reconcile your account again. Here's the guide to help you along the way: How to Reconcile an Account in QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, you might also want to verify your date format by following these steps.

  1. Go to Gear at the top, select Account and settings.
  2. Choose the Advanced tab.
  3. Scroll down towards the Other preferences section, then tap the Pencil icon to edit.
  4. Pick your preferred Date format from the drop-down.
  5. Click Save and then Done.
