Accountant getting emails about bank connection issues

Every time my bank account can not connect to online banking, my accountant is getting emails about "Urgent: Transaction info has stopped flowing into Quickbooks.
Reconnect today." 

How do I change settings so they don't get them?

We appreciate your choice of getting help changing your settings, so your accountant won't receive any emails in QuickBooks Online, @Potato54520. Let me help you with this.

 

Your accountant can navigate the Notification Settings in their QuickBooks Online Accountant Work tab, Potato. This way, they can toggle and change the status to stop receiving emails. Please forward the following steps to your accountant:

 

  1. Select Work from the left menu, then Notifications.
  2. Click the Edit icon.
  3. Select the settings your accountant wants to change the email notifications' status or assignees.
  4. Hit Save, then Done.

 

You can also manually update your bank account. This refreshes the program's bank connection and resolves the error message above.
