Adding new CC to existing CC account in QBO

Our company recently added a new CC to an existing company CC account. When I try to add it in QBO it gives me an error message. I see instructions for merging the two accounts in QB destop - unlink from bank and name second account the same as first. Then it seems QB will prompt you to merge the accounts. Is the process the same in QBO or is there a different w
