Adding products and services/item details when processing receipt transactions

The software I use for project management connects with Quickbooks primarily through the use of products and services under the item details. Since these options are not available when coding receipts I have to basically code my receipts twice. Once I mark the vendor and amount and dates on processing the transaction receipt, then I have to go into the expenses and then the item details are available. Is there anyway to turn on products and services/item details in the receipt processing capture area?

Currently, the ability to include the specific product or service item when manually entering receipt details is not available. I can see how this functionality would be handy to you and your business.                       

 

With our goal is to make QuickBooks as user friendly as possible for all the small business owners, so feel free to share with us if you have suggestions for improvement. Also, I'll make sure to pass along your request to our Product Development Team. 

 

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Feedback from the drop-down.
  3. Type in your Comments, Suggestions or Feedbacks.
  4. Choose Next.
  5. Select a category, and click Send message.

Lastly, you can visit our QuickBooks Online Blog so you'd be updated on the latest product developments, feature releases and improvements.
