After reconciled 3 mos go to the next month, I clear all deposits and payments yet it still says $67,090 in payments no matter what I do and it won't go away. Why

There are many possibilities why these payments are showing, this may be because of the following:

• The previous transactions were hidden after the statement date on the Reconcile page.
• The opening or closing balances are incorrect.
• There are duplicate payments.

These are the resolution to fix the payment balance if the previous transactions were hidden:

1. In the Reconcile page, click the Funnel or Filter icon.
2. In the Date section select Statement ending date and include the previous transactions, or you can choose All.
3. Select Apply. This is how it looks like:
