All deposits and running balance have disapeared from my bank register. how do I get them back?

There are several reasons why your transactions disappeared from the bank register. One is that the deposit transactions were deleted, or someone edited them. To verify, let's run the audit log report to check if someone made changes to your deposits. Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Click the Gear icon, then select Audit Log.
  3. From the Events drop-down, choose All transactions.
  4. Locate each deposit and verify if it was deleted or edited.

 

If the transactions were deleted, you need to recreate them so they'll show in your bank register. 

 

However, if the transactions weren't deleted or edited, let's clear your browser's cache to fix data issues. It's possible that your browser stores frequently accessed data, thus causing QBO to act weirdly.

 

Once everything looks good, you may want to reconcile your account. This is to make sure your transactions in QuickBooks match your bank statements.
