Another user same problem 1 year ago. I can't see old responses. How do I fix bank link issues if 2 accts link fine and 1 doesn't? Able to login to my bank through web

All accts linked fine last week. Tried to update 2 days ago and got error message.  Unlinked all accounts and 2 linked back up and 1 wouldn't and still won't.

May I know what Bank institution you’re using? Can you also provide the error message you received? This will help me check for any reported issue related to what you’re experiencing.

 

There are a few reason as to why you’re unable to connect your bank into the program. If your bank has multiple names on our list, make sure you've chosen the correct listing or that you've tried every link. It can also be that not all types of accounts can be connected to your bank. In the meantime, let's log back in to the bank's website to ensure we're linking the correct account. From there, let’s copy the bank URL and enter it on the Search field. This way, we’re sure we’re linking the correct account in QuickBooks.

 

Here’s how:

 

  1. On the left pane, select Banking.
  2. On the Banking page, select the Link account.
  3. Paste the bank’s URL in the Search bar.
  4. Select your bank. If you see multiple options, you may have to repeat these steps to find the correct one.
  5. Enter your bank login on your bank's website, then select Continue.

As a workaround, you’ll want to manually enter your transactions. Once done, you’ll want to categorize and match them in QuickBooks Online.
