Hello there, @mainah65

I acknowledge the importance of accurately recording your bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. Let me explain why your bank transactions show the opposite of what they should be.

It's important to note that your bank determines how QuickBooks Online receives information, as they control what information can be transferred. Therefore, I recommend checking your bank's website to see if they are currently performing any webpage maintenance, as this could cause connection issues.

Since they're downloaded as credit transactions, you can exclude them to ensure the accuracy of your financial records. Then, manually import the correct transaction by accessing it from your bank website to ensure that your records are up-to-date.

Furthermore, if you're using a CSV file to import your bank transactions into QBO, you can check this article to ensure that the data is in the correct format: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.

You can find helpful guidance on reviewing downloaded bank and credit transactions by visiting this article: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
