I have a U.S. account and bank and a Mexican bank account, but must manually enter all my transactions from Intercam Bank in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

It will be my pleasure to help you get to the bottom of this, @LuckyForSure.

We can check if your Mexican Bank account is one of the participating banks listed in QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Banking or Transactions on the left panel.
  2. Select Link account or Add account
  3. In the Connect your bank or credit card to bring in your transactions field, enter the URL listed for your bank.

For more information about managing and connecting bank accounts, you may refer to this article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

However, If you can’t find your bank but still want to add your transactions, you can manually upload your bank transactions or you can for a third-party app that helps you download your bank transactions to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Once you have downloaded your entries, you may match and categorize them properly so you can reconcile your account smoothly.

Know that I'm just a reply away if you have any other questions. I'll be right here to address them for you. Have a great day!

My bank account in Mexico does not have Quick Books it is very small. I wish to open an account at a list where I can download my transactions from a Mexican Bank to Quick Books Pro. Could you give me a list where I can open an account in Mexico. For example: HSBC, CL Banco, Banco Santander? Thank you.

It's great to see you back, LuckyForSure. Let me provide more information regarding connecting foreign bank accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Yes. The system allows you to connect to Mexican banks. However, we currently don't have specific lists as to what banks are supported. To verify, you can search for your bank from the field provided.

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Click on Banking at the left pane, then go to the Banking page.
  3. Tap on Connect account or Link account.
  4. Start your search from there. You can either use the bank's name or its URL.

If you didn't see your bank from the result, it's possibly not a participating financial institution for online banking connection. You may request support from your bank by following these steps:

  1. Tap on Link account or Connect account from the Banking menu.
  2. Search for the name of your financial institution. If QuickBooks is unable to find your bank, you will get the message, "Hmm, we can’t find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported banks," and you will be presented with helpful tips to try and locate your bank account.
  3. If you’re still unable to find your bank, select Request.
  4. Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided, then select Request.

You can also read the following article for further information: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.

Once your bank is connected, the system downloads your recent transactions automatically. All you need to do is to review and categorize them.

Notify me in the comment section below if you have other banking concerns. I'm just a few clicks away to help you again. Keep safe!

@LuckyForSure

If your bank doesn't yet support QB, use one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo) as a workaround.
