Cryptic message saying Intuit QB online account no longer supported. Why? What does this exactly mean?

I'm here to share some insight about the error you receive, dbubeckrd.

 

The QuickBooks Online Windows and Mac apps are written in an outdated desktop code version. Thus the reason the app stops running completely.

 

Not to worry, you can still access your QuickBooks Online account via supported web browsers. This is the reason why you're still being charged. To login into your account, I'd suggest following the step below.

 

  1. Go to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/sign-in-offer/.
  2. Enter the needed credentials (User ID and Password).
  3. Click Sign in with Email
