Bank connectivity with my CD account

I recently added a new CD to my chart of accounts and went through the steps to connect it to my bank (US Bank). It all went smooth and shows it is connected, however, it is not pulling in my interest transactions and I have had to enter them manually.

 

Things I have done: used a private browser and tried to reconnect, used my regular browser to reconnect

 

Notes: When I go through the reconnection steps, it shows the CD account, along with my checking and savings, checked in the step where it asks which accounts and what you would like to connect. In the next step where you would select which accounts to connect, it only shows my checking and savings account connected and does not give me the option of my CD account. 

*I am using Quickbooks Online in the US. The product dropdown would only give me international as an option.

I appreciate the things you've done so far to connect your CD (Certificate of Deposit) account to QBO. Rest assured, I'll guide you to get the best help to fix this.

 

QuickBooks relies on the data provided directly from the bank. Since you’ve already tried reconnecting and are still not seeing the CD account as an option, I suggest trying the reconnection process again using a different supported browser. If the issue remains, ensure that the dates are within the downloadable range from your bank. Some banks let you download the last 90 days of transactions and others can go back as far as 24 months.

 

I recommend reaching out to your bank to ensure they support direct downloads for CD accounts, specifically for interest payments. In the meantime, you can consider manually importing your transactions to your QBO account. Please note that this will cause duplicate entries of transactions after you successfully reconnect your bank account. To avoid duplicate entries, ensure you exclude transactions that you have already manually imported.
