Trying to like my bank account to quickbooks using the bank feed and i get to the point that it asks me to log in to my bank account and thrn tells me i need an updated browser which I already have.

I've got some steps we can perform to connect your bank accounts for Bank Feeds, Lplastering21. 

 

I appreciate you for updating your web browser to get this sorted out. We can set your Internet Explorer as your default web browser. This is because QuickBooks Desktop works with Internet Explorer (IE) as its browser for Direct Connect in online banking. Here's how:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click the Gear icon in the upper right corner (or click Tools).
  3. Tap Internet Options.
  4. Click the Programs tab.
  5. Under Default Web Browser click the Make Default button.
  6. Press OK.

 

Then, connect your bank for Bank Feeds by following the steps and details in this article: Set up bank accounts for Bank Feeds in QuickBooks Desktop. If your bank no longer supports IE 11 or older, you may be able to use Web Connect and check with your bank for availability. Just follow the steps in the article I've provided and go to Import Web Connect (.qbo) files section.
