Question

Bank feed filters disappeared?

Anyone know why the bank feed filters in QBO have disappeared?  There used to be a search bar so you could search transactions.  There also was recently a filter with a drop down where you can select "rule applied" etc.

Now the only filter I can use is a date filter.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

I appreciate you for bringing this to our attention, @colleenkg2013.

I understand the importance of the filter option in the bank feed of QuickBooks Online (QBO). For now, let's do some troubleshooting steps to determine whether the issue is related to your browser.

To begin, please open an incognito window. This will prevent your browsing history from being saved. You can use the following keyboard shortcuts based on the type of browser you are using:

  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

Next, go to the QuickBooks Online (QBO) page and see if you can see the filters option in the bank feeds. If it works, you can clear your browser's cache. This removes the webpage data that's causing the issue. If a private browser doesn't work, you can use other installed supported browsers as another option.

I'll also add this article to guide you in reconciling your accounts so they always match your bank and credit card statements: Reconcile an account

Feel free to leave a comment below on how the troubleshooting steps go on resolving the issue about the filter option in the bank feed. I'll be around to lend a helping hand, @colleenkg2013.
