Hello,

I am new to QuickBooks Online.  However, I just completed connecting to Bank Feed for a new client but the bank feed and bank statement for initial month doesn't match.

Please advise or assist.

Thank you,

Hi there, @6710!

Transaction downloaded with the initial integration is based on the number of months provided by your financial institution. Randomly, most of them will share at least 90 days from the setup date and/or 24 months at most.

Now that the downloaded transactions don't match based on what is listed in your bank statement, let's consider manually downloading a list of your other transactions in a CSV format and uploading the file in QuickBooks. Kindly read and use this article to make sure your file is in the correct formation to avoid issue importing it:

Then, follow the steps listed below to start uploading your transactions:

  1. Go to Banking.
  2. Select Transactions.
  3. Under Link account, select Upload from file.
  4. Click Select files.
  5. Find and open the CSV file of your online transactions.
  6. Select Continue.
  7. Map your transactions according to QuickBooks requirements.
  8. Click Let's go.

Here's an article you can read to learn more about uploading transactions and other file formats you're able to use: Manually Upload Transactions into QuickBooks Online.

After you're able to upload and get the list of all your online transactions, here is the reference you can use to review and put them into the correct accounts in QuickBooks: Categorize and Match Online Bank Transactions in QuickBooks Online.
