Bank Feeds

I just set up bank feeds for my Amex account using Direct Connect.  The transactions all imported correctly except the class didn't come over.  How can I fix that?

Great job in importing your bank transactions to your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) software, @lgiacobbe.

 

Allow me to share some insights with you about importing transactions with classes. The option to do so is currently not possible, you’ll need to manually assign classes from the Bank Feeds Center before adding them to your bank register. Let me show you how.

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Bank Feeds and choose the Bank Feeds Center.
  3. Locate and select your preferred bank account.
  4. Click Transactions List.
  5. Select your imported transactions and manually assign classes from the Class drop-down menu.
